The directors of WHM have all been involved with various corporate projects of all sizes since the mid-1970s.

National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System

WHM has experience in administering and complying with the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System, which regulates point sources that discharge pollutants into Waters of the United States. Industrial, municipal and other facilities disturbing more than 5 acres or having a point source discharge must obtain this permit before construction can commence.

Erosion and Sediment Control

Prior to project construction initiation, all earthmoving activities must account for erosion and sediments. Permits are required for plans to minimize erosion and sedimentation to verify that nearby waterways will not be negatively affected by these activities. Projects needing E&S Permits include road construction and maintenance, land development, and any other activity involving earth movement.

Water Obstruction and Encroachment

Water obstruction and encroachment permits are required for any structure or activity that changes, expands or diminishes the course, current or cross section of a water resource. This involves coordination with local, state, and federal agencies.

Agency Coordination

Water obstruction and encroachment permits are required for any structure or activity that changes, expands or diminishes the course, current or cross section of a water resource.
